We would far rather flag that on the site visit and price it honestly than turn up on dig day with a change order.
The common Taylorsville job is a full-size fiberglass pool with a well-detailed concrete deck on an open lot outside town. The second is a wooded-lot build where selective clearing and the crane path shape the layout as much as the view does.
Taylorsville parcels are often larger than their Catawba equivalents and much more likely to be wooded, so crane access rather than yard size is the thing to check. A fiberglass shell needs a clear lift path, and mature hardwood canopy is the usual obstacle. Where the reach is tight we look at a smaller model or a different staging position before we will commit to a date. Selective clearing is often the answer rather than taking a whole treeline out — the canopy is usually the reason the yard is worth sitting in, and losing all of it to gain a lift path is a poor trade.
